Alyssia Griffith was a stay at home mom for six years. She spent more than two years as an infant daycare teacher, where the babies meant the world to her. When she decided to homeschool her daughter, she built Little Moon so she could have more time at home and keep doing what she loves, caring for newborns through the night so brand new parents can finally rest during those exhausting first weeks.

Some dreams do not run on anyone else's clock. Deb Tjapkes opened The Hive Craft Market at 65 years old, partnering with her sister and her best friend to finally chase something they had always wanted. One year later, the shop is home to 35 local vendors, each displaying their own handmade work under one roof in Muskegon. Deb and her partners simply love crafting and sharing the talent of so many people, and the result is a market that feels like a celebration of everyone in it. It is living proof that it is never too late to build the thing you always wanted.
